Follicular Unit Extraction Method (FUE)

(FUE Method) is a minimally invasive hair transplantation technique that involves extracting hair grafts (hair follicles) using the point method without linear incisions and rhaphes.

The application of this method is recommended at the stages of baldness from II to VI degrees according to Norwood.  FUE hair transplantation is also used for post-traumatic and post-burn cicatrixes, for the restoration of eyebrows and eyelashes, and for lack of hair growth in the beard and mustache area.

Before the procedure, an interview with the patient is mandatory. We discuss the future hair growth design, determine the number of grafts needed to achieve an aesthetically acceptable result. In case of scarce donor stock FUE-method allows to extract additional grafts from the body (from the chest, back, beard, etc.).

Procedure

Local anesthesia is used for the hair transplant procedure. The transplant surgeon and his assistants prepare the donor area. In the area of the donor zone, hair grafts are extracted using the point method (panch method), when the surgeon selects each graft individually with a special apparatus. The obtained grafts are implanted into the baldness area, which leaves no linear scars (scars).

After hair transplantation FUE-method on the back of the head remain microscars in the form of small red dots, which heal and eventually become invisible.

After the hair transplant procedure

After 8-10 months, the transplanted hair will finally gain strength, grow in length and become thicker. You will notice more volume, which will be proportional to the width of the hair shaft and the length of the hair. You will be able to easily control the length of your hair, and the longer the hair, the more voluminous the hairstyle will look. If you like volume and length, you will be able to slick your hair back, which will additionally visually increase the total amount of hair. One month after the transplant, you will be able to use any hair care and strengthening products of your choice.
