FIRST MONTH AFTER HAIR TRANSPLANTATION FUE METHOD

The first 10 days after transplantation, we do not recommend smoking, drinking alcohol, active sports, significant physical exertion, prolonged exposure to the open sun, all that can cause excessive sweating and a sharp change in the blood supply to the head area.

Within 2-3 weeks after transplantation, you should avoid swimming in the sea, pool, visiting the sauna and other thermal procedures, as well as excessive ultraviolet exposure to direct sunlight or a solarium. 10-15 days after the operation, you can begin to engage in light sports.

Transplanted hair growth process.

About 3 weeks after transplantation, the physiological process of renewal and stressful hair loss begins, which does not affect the transplanted follicles (hair roots do not fall out).  This should not scare the patient.  In fact, this process would be more accurately called brittle hair.  The process takes place gradually, the hair changes one after another.

The duration and intensity of this process depends on the individual characteristics of the body, the type and structure of the skin on the head, and is also determined by the “individual period of the life”.  New hair from transplanted follicles begins to grow after a “rest period” within 3-6 weeks after transplantation.  Hair growth occurs as before transplanting it to a new place.  After graft engraftment, this process progresses naturally.  After about 8-10 months, all hair in transplanted follicles is completely replaced and grows back.

Haircut for transplanted hair

After a hair transplantation, it is not recommended to cut the hair for the first 2 weeks.  After the second week, a haircut can be done with scissors.  Starting from the 30th day, haircuts can be done by any method.  It is advisable to carry out the first haircuts at hairdressers with work experience or understanding of how to handle clients who have undergone hair transplantation.
